Supplement to Prospectus dated August 5, 1996
Due to a printing error, the "Ratios to Average Net
Assets - Expenses" for Class B and Class C shares of the
High Growth Portfolio were misstated in the "Financial
Highlights" table on page 9 of the Fund's prospectus. The
correct percentage for each Class is 1.35%, as reflected in
the table of "Each Portfolio's Expenses" in the Summary
section of the Fund's prospectus.
