Person and a partner in Sterling PathoGenesis Company ("Sterling"). The
Reporting Person disclaims beneficial ownership of such shares, except to
the extent of his pecuniary interest.
(3) Held by Sterling, of which the Reporting Person is managing partner. The
Reporting Person disclaims beneficial ownership of such shares, except to
the extent of his pecuniary interest. Certain other partners in Sterling
hold securities of the Issuer outside of Sterling.
