Supplement to the Prospectus dated January 22, 1996
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Prospectus, Unit holders
of other unit investment trusts having a similar investment objective as
the Communications Convergence Trust, Series 1 (the "Trust") may utilize
the proceeds which they receive immediately prior to or upon the
termination of such trusts to purchase Units of the Trust at a reduced
sales charge of 3.9% (equivalent to 4.058% of the net amount invested).
