Sydney, 23 July, 1998 OzEmail Limited (ASX: OZM) (Nasdaq: OZEMY), the leading
provider of comprehensive Internet services in Australasia today unveiled
OzEmail Buddy. A two-fold, instant messaging service, OzEmail Buddy enables
Internet users to view whether friends, family and colleagues are online and
allows the exchange of private messages in real-time.

"Regardless of whether you buy, aggregate or develop your own localised content
in Australia it's a tough business and certainly becoming more competitive every
day," said OzEmail's President and Chief Operating Officer, David Spence. "The
trick is to pick the voids in the consumer market and fill them. So, naturally
we're placing the first stake in the Australian soil with OzEmail Buddy, the
first Australian-based instant messaging service."

Using a user's IP address and a simple pinging method, this service allows users
to quickly identify who's online and ready to chat and who's not. Often
described as an adjunct to email communication, an instant messaging service
like OzEmail Buddy paves the way for consumers in Australia and across the globe
to find and instantly communicate with their friends in an easy-to-use, friendly
and responsive Web-based environment.

To mark the launch of the new service, OzEmail is offering all Australians who
register with OzEmail Buddy before 16 August, 1998 the chance to win a $1000
cash prize.

"The success of Mirabilis' ICQ demonstrates the value of instant messaging on
the Internet and Buddy adds another application to the host of value-added
services that OzEmail is bringing to the Australian market," said Mr Spence.
"Buddy promotes direct, instantaneous communication with friends and family
while Chat City fosters community spirit through meeting new people, hearing new
ideas and discussing a diverse range of topics."

"We believe that our chat and instant messaging services will complement each
other very well," said Mr Spence. "Chat City has far exceeded our volume
expectations with more than 30,000 registrations recorded in the three months
since launch. This just proves that Net users love the inter-activity the
Internet can offer."

Registration with OzEmail Buddy is free and is available to all Internet users
around the world at http://www.buddy.com.au. Users who have already registered
with OzEmail's recently launched chat service, Chat City, will not need to
register again. The same registration details can be used in both services.

How does OzEmail Buddy work? After a small file has been downloaded and
installed on the user's PC, they are ready to begin the OzEmail Buddy instant
messaging adventure. To use OzEmail Buddy effectively, a user must compile a
list of family, friends and colleagues. The user can search the directory
service to confirm if their compiled list of 'buddies' are already registered
with OzEmail Buddy. If the search is successful, the user can immediately start
instant messaging online with their friends. For 'buddies' not registered with
the service, the user can send them an invitation to join OzEmail Buddy via
email.

How are 'buddies' monitored? OzEmail Buddy continually monitors the status of
the user's 'Buddy' list. If a ping test between IP ranges proves successful and
the 'buddy' is identified as being online, their name will be highlighted in
green in the OzEmail Buddy dialogue box. When a user notices that their 'buddy'
is highlighted green and online, they can send an 'instant message'. OzEmail
Buddy also allows users to hold an interactive group conference with three or
more users. When their buddies are off line, the name appears in black. An
additional, "I am hidden" feature, enables an OzEmail Buddy user to appear
invisible to all other or specific OzEmail Buddy users.

"Let OzEmail Buddy track down your friends where ever they are!" concluded Mr
Spence.

OzEmail Launches SouthernX

FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT:

Helen Forde - Sydney, Australia - (+61 2) 9433 2461, (+61 411) 530 461

Sydney, Australia, 14 September, 1998 - OzEmail Limited (NASDAQ: OZEMY), the
leading provider of comprehensive Internet services in Australasia today
launched 'SouthernX' (pronounced Southern Cross), an Australian and New Zealand
email search directory.

"We want SouthernX to become effectively an online telephone book listing email
addresses. It will be the easiest and quickest way to find the forgotten email
address of one of your friends or even to track down your favourite clothing
store online," said OzEmail President and Chief Operating Officer, David Spence.
"This new OzEmail service will fill the gap in our marketplace for an
easy-to-use and regionally-focused email directory service."

SouthernX's simple interface and navigational features allow Internet users to
effectively search the database for personal or business email details. To
search, the user must know at least a person's last name or the name of the
business or organisation they are trying to contact, much like a telephone
directory. The database allows other search combinations including first name,
email domain, state or country. Wildcards can also be used to maximise search
results.

"With this consumer directory service, you only register your details if you
want to be listed in the SouthernX database," added Mr Spence. "If you register
a friend's details, they are sent an email to confirm that they are happy for
their details to be submitted in the SouthernX database before their details are
added."

To help foster the development and growth of SouthernX as the premier email
search directory for Australian and New Zealand Internet users, a three-tiered
SouthernX Partner Program has been established. Interested partners can choose
from a free link to the SouthernX Web site, a co-branded Partner site or a
Private Label Partner site in which the SouthernX search site is entirely
branded by the partner.

"One of the keys to SouthernX's success will be its distribution," said Mr
Spence. "We warmly welcome interest from other Internet service providers,
search engines and Web site owners who wish to take part in our SouthernX
partner program and offer their customers direct access to this new email search
facility."

To herald the arrival of SouthernX, consumers who register their details with
SouthernX before 7 October, 1998, will be placed in the SouthernX competition
draw to win a new Apple iMac computer.

"So to make your business more readily accessible for Internet users or to find
your long lost friend who you know is connected to the Net, register and start
using SouthernX now," concluded Mr Spence.

SouthernX's Web site address is http://www.southerncross.aust.com

OzEmail Announces Further Infrastructure Investment
Confirms purchase of Powerup Pty Limited

Michael Ward - Sydney, Australia - (+61 2) 9433 2498
Todd Friedman - San Francisco, United States - (415) 439 4514

Sydney, Australia, September 14, 1998 - OzEmail Limited ("the Company", Nasdaq:
OZEMY, ASX: OZM), the leading provider of comprehensive Internet services in
Australasia, announced an additional investment in the Southern Cross Cable
Consortium to acquire fibre capacity between the United States, New Zealand and
Australia.

Trans-Pacific capacity is a major cost for Internet service providers in
Australia with most paying at least 16 cents per megabyte for their
international traffic. "The acquisition of this additional capacity we are
announcing today is in order to meet our projections for significant growth in
the Australian market over the next decade," said Sean Howard, Chief Executive
Officer of OzEmail.

The Southern Cross Cable agreement provides for capacity of 3.5 T3s (approx
150Mbps) in the first four years following the ready-for-service date, growing
to 10.5 T3s (approx 450Mbps) thereafter. Southern Cross ("SC"), a wholly-owned
New Zealand subsidiary of Southern Cross Bermuda, is entering into agreements
for the supply of a cable link between Australia and the United States via New
Zealand. SC is a consortium of telecommunications companies including Worldcom,
Optus and Telecom NZ. This announcement is additional to last April's agreement
to acquire 45Mbps of capacity and the pre-payment of US$2.217m. The Company will
make an additional payment of US$3.78m prior to 28 February 1999 as part of the
new agreement, and at the ready-for-service date, anticipated to be during the
year 2000, will make a one-off payment of US$35.3m covering the use of the cable
for a period of 15 years.

"This represents a commitment to the future growth of our business and the
Internet in Australia, said Mr Howard. "One of our business' greatest assets
will be our ability to manage rapid growth and to guarantee supply to our
customers: Southern Cross Cable allows us to plan with confidence." The Company
today also advised of the completion of the purchase of 55% of the issued
capital of Powerup Pty Ltd, the leading Queensland ISP with 19,200 active
subscribers, announced on May 13 this year. The purchase consideration was
378,790 ordinary shares and cash of A$666,666. The business also includes the
web-hosting service Web Central, which currently houses over 3300 corporate
sites.

Sydney, Australia, September 23, 1998 - OzEmail Limited ("the Company",
Nasdaq: OZEMY, ASX: OZM), the leading provider of comprehensive Internet
services in Australasia, today added Coober Pedy to its Australia-wide
network.

"OzEmail is proud to bring the Internet to such a remote community," said
OzEmail President and Chief Operating Officer David Spence at the launch today.
"It is in places like Coober Pedy that the Internet provides such a valuable
education and communication tool by reducing the distance between Coober Pedy
and the world."

The Coober Pedy point-of-presence (POP) will provide local call Internet access
to approximately 3000 people in the remotest area of Australia. The Coober Pedy
POP is a joint project of the Spencer Region Development Association, OzEmail
and the Coober Pedy community as part of the 'Spencer Access Network'. The
Spencer Access Network is aimed at demonstrating that a remote Australia dweller
can obtain modern communication technology at the same cost as a metropolitan
Australia dweller.

In total, 21 POPs are required to fully service the Spencer Region of South
Australia (an area bigger than NSW). The Coober Pedy POP is the first of 9 POPs
funded as part of the initial program by the Rural Telecommunication
Infrastructure Fund from the Commonwealth Government.

"The Coober Pedy POP also provides Internet telephony bringing reduced cost long
distance and international phone calls to the outback," said Mr Spence. "OzEmail
is committed to bringing the Internet to Australians everywhere."

Sydney, Australia, September 16, 1998 - OzEmail Limited ("the Company", Nasdaq:
OZEMY, ASX: OZM), the leading provider of comprehensive Internet services in
Australasia, announced the release of MyMail, a free web-based email service
available from today.

"MyMail was created to fill a void in existing services where users need to have
access to their standard personal computer and dedicated software to check their
personal mail account", said OzEmail Chief Executive Officer, Sean Howard.
"MyMail provides simple, quick access to an existing, standard ISP mailbox via a
user-friendly web interface - from anywhere on the Internet."

Users have the ability to read, reply, delete or compose mail items from any
browser once they have provided their user name and password and been
authenticated by their usual ISP or corporate server. Users are able to send and
receive attachments as well as forward mail items just as they would on their
normal personal computer.

"MyMail is designed to leverage OzEmail's market share and provide our users
with a simple, easily-accessible means of using the Internet to stay in touch,
wherever they are", said Mr Howard. "We are also proud of the fact that we are
supporting world class Australian-developed technology."

MyMail is a joint development between OzEmail Ltd. and Start Pty Ltd
(http://www.start.com.au). The resulting product is a wholly Australian owned
and developed service that draws on the extensive expertise of both
organisations. MyMail is based in part on the START freemail service and uses
many of the features of this service in delivering a robust and reliable
web-based email user agent.

MyMail has been designed as a casual alternative to a user's normal access
method and has been made flexible enough to access the email account of any
supported ISPs though, initially, the service will be offered only to customers
of a select group of Australian ISPs. MyMail avoids the traps of many freemail
providers, such as Hotmail and Yahoo, as it does not require a new address.

"MyMail is part of our strategy of providing tools that assist in the adoption
of the Internet and adds to the growing range of content and services that are
available through OzEmail's Internet portal," said Mr Howard.

Corporate clients can also benefit from implementing MyMail across their
networks enabling remote access for employees to their mail services. The MyMail
server is offered as a turnkey solution and all common software licenses and
basic customisation is included in the product.

MyMail is available at
