STAR SELECT REIT-PLUS FUND
Effective October 1, 1998, the following information replaces the
information currently provided in the prospectus on page 8 regarding the
day-to-day management of the Fund's portfolio:
Peter Sorrentino is primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of
the Fund's portfolio. Mr. Sorrentino is Vice President and Director of Portfolio
Management and Research for the Capital Management Division of Star Bank. Mr.
Sorrentino has been an integral part of the REIT-Plus Fund since its inception
in 1997. Prior to joining Star Bank in 1996, Mr. Sorrentino served as Regional
Director of Portfolio Management for Banc One Investment Advisors since 1987.
Mr. Sorrentino earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance
and Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. He also earned the Chartered
Financial Analyst designation. Mr. Sorrentino also served as portfolio manager
for the REIT-Plus Fund from its inception in June, 1997 to July 1, 1998.
This Supplement, and the Prospectus dated August 1, 1998, contain
information that you should know before investing in the Fund and should be
retained for future reference. Additional information is included in the
Statement of Additional Information dated August 1, 1998, which has been filed
