               PEACE ARCH ANNOUNCES INCREASE IN ROYAL BANK CREDIT
                             FACILITY TO $25 MILLION

Vancouver, BC (March 7, 2000) - PEACE ARCH ENTERTAINMENT GROUP INC. (AMEX:
"PAE"; TSE: "PAE.A", "PAE.B"), is pleased to announce that it has secured a $11
million credit facility increase with the Royal Bank of Canada. This brings
Peace Arch's current credit facility with the Royal Bank to $25 million. The
funds will be used primarily to finance the Company's increasing television
production slate.

In commenting on the facility, Juliet Jones, Chief Financial Officer of Peace
Arch stated:

        This increase in our credit facility is an important step in enabling us
        to fulfill our goal of continued growth and expansion in the coming
        years. It also signifies the Royal Bank's confidence in, and commitment
        to, Peace Arch Entertainment and the Canadian film and television
        industry.

PEACE ARCH ENTERTAINMENT GROUP INC. creates proprietary content for worldwide
television and the Internet. Currently, PAE is producing 66 episodes of its
international hit sci-fi series, FIRST WAVE; is in pre-production on its new
half-hour, 22 episode comedy series, THE AGENCY (working title), for Global
Television; and will be going to camera in April on the third season of the
children's half-hour series, SO WEIRD, which airs on the Disney Channel. Founded
in 1980, the Company's operating divisions include PEACE ARCH PRODUCTIONS INC.,
AVIATOR PICTURES, TOOLSHED, THE EYES MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTION INC. and
