On November 1, 2000 AltaRex Corp. (the "Company") announced that it plans to
implement a share consolidation pursuant to which every four pre-consolidation
common shares will be exchanged for one post-consolidation common share. As a
result of the share consolidation, the Company's approximately 74 million shares
outstanding will become approximately 18.5 million shares.
