Enclosed is the report for the period from June 27, 1998 to July 31, 1998 for
World Monitor Trust--Series B (the 'Trust'). The net asset value of an interest
as of July 31, 1998 was $94.24, a decrease of 4.59% from the June 26, 1998 value
of $98.77. The year-to-date return for the Trust, which commenced trading June
10, 1998, was a decrease of 5.76% as of July 31, 1998.
The estimated net asset value per interest as of August 14, 1998 was $97.47.
