Enclosed is the report for the period from December 26, 1998 to January 29, 1999
for World Monitor Trust--Series B (the 'Trust'). The net asset value of an
interest as of January 29, 1999 was $109.18, a decrease of 1.85% from the
December 25, 1998 value of $111.24. The 1999 calendar year-to-date return for
the Trust was a decrease of 2.50% as of January 29, 1999.
The estimated net asset value per interest as of February 11, 1999 was $108.96.
