ITEM 9. REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
LaSalle Hotel Properties will host a conference call to discuss the
Company's results for the quarter ended September 30, 2000 and its outlook
for the fourth quarter of 2000 and the year 2001.
The conference call will take place on Tuesday, October 31, 2000 at
9:00 a.m., Eastern Time (ET).

steps:

2. On Tuesday, October 31, dial 913-981-5522 approximately ten
minutes before the call begins (8:50 a.m. ET);

Properties' Third Quarter 2000 Earnings Conference Call;

connected to the call.
