Birmingham, AL...Compass Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ:CBSS) mailed a fourth
set of supplemental proxy material to shareholders. A letter from the Compass
Board of Directors underscores the leadership that current management has
consistently delivered and outlines the misleading conduct of the dissident
shareholder group led by director Harry B. Brock, Jr. Compass' annual
