Supplement to the Current Prospectus
During the period March 27, 1995 through May 19,
1995 (the "Sales Period") (unless extended by MFS Fund
Distributors, Inc. ("MFD"), the Funds' distributor),
MFD will pay Robert Thomas Securities ("Robert
Thomas") 100% of the applicable sales charge on sales
of Class A shares of each of the funds listed above
(the "Funds") sold by Robert Thomas during the Sales
Period. Furthermore, MFD will pay Robert Thomas an
additional commission equal to 0.50% of the net asset
value of all of the Class B shares of the Funds sold
by Robert Thomas during the Sales Period.
