SUPPLEMENT TO PROSPECTUSES DATED MAY 30, 1995
The following modifies the second paragraph in the section
entitled The Conditions of Your Purchase under Buying Shares:
Beginning July 1, 1995, the Fund reserves the right,
following shareholder notification, to charge a service fee on
non-retirement accounts that have remained below the minimum
stated account balance for a period of three or more consecutive
months. Holders of such accounts may be notified of their below
minimum status and advised that they have until the end of the
current calendar quarter to raise their balance to the stated
minimum. If the account has not reached the minimum balance
requirement by that time, the Fund will charge a $9 fee for that
quarter and each subsequent calendar quarter until the account is
brought up to the minimum balance. The service fee will be
deducted from the account during the first week of each calendar
quarter for the previous quarter, and will be used to help defray
the cost of maintaining low balance accounts. No fees will be
charged without proper notice and no contingent deferred sales
charge will apply to such assessments.
