On May 1, 1996, Merrill Corporate Printers erroneously filed
a Rule 497(c) filing for Dean Witter Natural Resource Development
Securities Inc. under the wrong submission header - 485BPOS. The
electronic filing was transmitted to and accepted by the SEC on May
1, 1996 (accession number 0000912057-96-007685). The erroneous
485B filing would be PEA #19 under the 1933 Act and Amendment #20
under the 1940 Act on your mainframe. We would like this amendment
withdrawn because it actually is a 497 filing.
The registrant hereby requests withdrawal of the amendment
pursuant to Rule 477(a) under the Securities Act of 1933.
