During the first quarter of the current fiscal year, Alfa has acquired
interests in some oil and gas properties in Louisiana. The operator of these
properties has not provided the up-to-date financial information to Alfa to
complete its quarterly timely and accurate financial filings. It is therefore
requested to please grant an extension for the first quarter ended August 31,
1999.
