SUPPLEMENT TO PROSPECTUS DATED MAY 1, 1996
The section of the Fund's prospectus entitled "Portfolio Management" is
amended on page 26 by deletion of the disclosure relating to Patrick S. Adams,
who is no longer associated with Founders.
Effective May 9, 1996, Edward F. Keely assumed additional lead
portfolio manager responsibilities for Founders Blue Chip and Balanced Funds.
Mr. Keely will be assisted by Founders' management team, which employs a unique
team-and-lead-manager system in the management of its equity funds. The team
includes Founders' Chief Investment Officer, Bjorn K. Borgen, other lead
portfolio managers, assistant portfolio managers, portfolio traders, and
research analysts.
