Supplement to the Current Prospectus
The fourth sentence under the caption "Management of the
Fund - Investment Adviser" on page 9 of the Prospectus has
been deleted and replaced in its entirety by the following
sentence: Mitchell D. Dynan, a Vice President of the
Adviser, has been a portfolio manager of the Fund since
March 1, 1995. Mr. Dynan has been employed by Massachusetts
Financial Services Company, the Funds investment adviser,
since 1986.
The date of this Supplement is March 1, 1995.
