Effective June 1996, the following information replaces the similar
information found in "The Fund in Detail," section on page 8.
Robert Bertelson is manager of Fidelity Convertible Securities Fund, which
he has managed since June 1996. Previously, he was a portfolio manager for
Fidelity International, Limited (FIL), a sister company of Fidelity
Investments that was founded in 1969 to provide investment management
services to investors outside the United States. Mr. Bertelson joined
Fidelity in 1991.
