Supplement, dated May 25, 1995, to the Statement of Additional Information,
dated May 1, 1995, of Seligman Communications and Information Fund, Inc. (the
"Fund")
The following language replaces the last sentence of the third paragraph on
page 2 of the Fund's Statement of Additional Information:
"The Fund will not invest more than 15% of its net assets in illliquid
securities including restricted securities."
