Statement of Additional Information dated October 11, 1994
As of November 7, 1994, pursuant to an Agreement and Plan of
Reorganization, substantially all of the assets of Dreyfus/Laurel Tax Free
Money Fund (formerly Laurel Tax Free Money Fund) (the "Fund") were acquired
by Dreyfus/Laurel Tax-Exempt Money Market Fund in exchange for shares of
Dreyfus/Laurel Tax-Exempt Money Market Fund. As a result of the
reorganization, the Fund has been liquidated. Accordingly, all references
in the Statement of Additional Information to the Fund are deleted.
