ITEM 1. SECURITY AND ISSUER.

            This statement relates to the Common Stock, ("Common Stock"), of
Electronic Clearing House, Inc., a California corporation (the "Issuer"), having
its principal executive offices at 28001 Dorothy Drive, Agoura Hills, California
91301.

ITEM 2. IDENTITY AND BACKGROUND.

            The Reporting Person filing this statement is Robert Feury. This
statement contains information regarding shares of Common Stock owned by Mr.
Feury, the Allied Building Products Corp Savings and Incentive Plan ("Plan") of
which Mr. Feury is a trustee and various purchases by relatives and family
trusts ("Family Purchases"). Although shares of Common Stock owned by the Plan
and in Family Purchases may be deemed to be beneficially owned by Mr. Feury, the
filing of this statement should not be deemed an admission that Mr. Feury
beneficially owns such shares or that the Plan or Family Purchases constitute a
"group" within the meaning of Section 13(d)(3) of the Securities and Exchange
Act of 1934.

      Mr. Feury's business address is:

      Mr. Feury's principal occupation is:

      Mr. Feury has not, during the past five years, been convicted in a
criminal proceeding (excluding traffic violations or similar misdemeanors), nor
has he been a party to a civil proceeding of a judicial or administrative body
of competent jurisdiction and as a result of such proceeding was or is subject
to a judgment, decree or final order enjoining future violations of, or
prohibiting or mandating activity subject to federal or state securities/and or
finding any violation with respect to such laws.


      Mr. Feury is a United States citizen.  The Plan is an ERISA Plan.

ITEM 3. SOURCE AND AMOUNT OF FUNDS OR OTHER CONSIDERATION.

            The shares of Common Stock owned by Mr. Feury were acquired between
December 28, 1994 and June 6, 1997 through purchases and loan transactions which
include warrants and/or

conversion rights (which have not been exercised). All transactions for which he
may be deemed a beneficial owner are described in Exhibit A.

ITEM 4. PURPOSE OF TRANSACTION.

            Mr. Feury has acquired the Common Stock for the purpose of
investment, constituting a portion of his securities portfolio. He intends to
reexamine this investment in the Issuer from time to time and depending on
market conditions and other factors, may purchase or sell shares of Common
Stock, if appropriate opportunities to do so are available, on such terms and at
such times as he considers advisable.

            Subject to the foregoing, Mr. Feury does not have any present plans
or proposals which relate to or would result in:

      (a)   The acquisition by any person of additional securities of the
            Issuer, or the disposition of securities of the Issuer;

      (b)   An extraordinary corporate transaction, such as a merger
            reorganization or liquidation, involving the Issuer or any of its
            subsidiaries.

      (c)   A sale or transfer of a material amount of assets of the Issuer or
            any of its subsidiaries:

      (d)   Any change in the present board of directors or managers of the
            Issuer, including any plans or proposals to change the number of
            directors or to fill any existing vacancies on the board:

      (e)   Any material change in the present capitalization or dividend policy
            of the Issuer;

      (f)   Any other material change in the Issuer's business or the corporate
            structure;

      (g)   Changes in the Issuer's charter, bylaws or instruments,
            corresponding thereto or other actions which may impede the
            acquisition of control of the Issuer by any person;

      (h)   Causing a class of securities of the Issuer to be delisted from a
            national securities exchange or to cease to be authorized to be
            quoted in an inter-dealer quotation system of a registered national
            securities association.

      (i)   A class of equity securities of the Issuer becoming eligible for
            termination of registration pursuant to Section 12(g)(4) of the
            Securities Exchange Act of 1934; or

      (j)   Any action similar to any of those enumerated above.

ITEM 5. INTEREST IN SECURITIES OF THE ISSUER.

      (a)   As of June 6, 1997, Mr. Feury may be deemed the beneficial owner of
            922,000 shares of Common Stock which represents 6.1% of the
            15,205,541 shares of outstanding Common Stock determined pursuant to
            Rule 13d-3(d)(1)(i) as of the date of this report.

      (b)   Mr. Feury currently has the sole power to vote or direct the vote
            and to dispose or direct the disposition of 125,000 shares of the
            Common Stock and the shared power to vote and to direct the
            disposition of 700,000 shares as trustee of the Plan.

      (c)   On June 6, 1997, Mr. Feury acquired 18,750 shares of Common Stock
            through the purchase of Preferred Stock in a private transaction. He
            may also be deemed to have acquired beneficially 60,000 additional
            shares of Common Stock of the Company through the purchase of 15,000
            shares of Preferred Stock in a private transaction. Each share of
            Series K Preferred Stock is convertible into 4 shares of Common
            Stock. The price of the Series K Preferred was $4.00 per share.

            Other than such transactions, Mr. Feury has not effected any
            transactions in the Common Stock during the past sixty days.

      (d)   The Plan has the right to receive, or the power to direct the
            receipt of dividends or sale proceeds with respect to 700,000 shares
            of the Common Stock which may be deemed to be beneficially owned by
            Mr. Feury.

      (e)   Not applicable.

        SECURITIES OF THE ISSUER.

            Except as described herein, there are no contracts, arrangements,
understandings or relationships (legal or otherwise) among the Reporting Person
and any other person with respect to any securities of the Issuer, including any
contract, arrangement, understanding or relationship concerning transfer or
voting of any securities of the Issuer, finder's fees, joint ventures.

1.    Acquired through a $150,000 loan to ECHO which included interest at 12%
      paid quarterly and conversion rights to 300,000 shares of Common Stock at
      $.50 per share and included warrants for 150,000 shares of Common Stock at
      $.50 per share exercisable by December 28, 1999.

2.    Share Purchase.

3.    Consideration for extension of the loan in #1 above was an additional
      75,000 warrants at $.40 per share expiring February 23, 1999 and lowering
      the exercise of warrants and conversion price to $.40 per share (resulting
      in an additional 75,000 shares).

4.    Purchased in a private transaction of Series K Preferred Stock each share
      of which is convertible to 4 shares of Common Stock. Purchase was 18,750
      shares at $4.00 per share per share for Robert Feury and 12,500 shares at
      $4.00 for Relatives/Trusts. These are convertible to 75,000 and 50,000
      shares of Common Stock respectively.
