SUPPLEMENT TO THE PROSPECTUS OF
DEAN WITTER WORLD WIDE INVESTMENT TRUST
DATED MAY 28, 1993
The fifth paragraph under the section of the Prospectus entitled "The Fund
and its Management" is revised to reflect that County NatWest Investment
Management Limited, one of the Fund's Investment Advisers, has changed its
name to NatWest Investment Management Limited.
The eighth paragraph under the same section is revised to reflect that,
effective May 1, 1994, the Trustees of the Fund have amended the Fund's
Investment Management and Investment Advisory Agreements to reduce the
compensation receivable by the Investment Manager and the Investment Advisers
under the Agreements for assets exceeding $500 million, so that each of Dean
Witter InterCapital Inc., NatWest Investment Management Limited and Daiwa
International Capital Management Corp. receive fees at the annual rates of
0.55%, 0.225% and 0.225%, respectively, of the Fund's average daily net
assets not exceeding $500 million; and 0.5225%, 0.21375% and 0.21375%,
respectively, of the Fund's average daily net assets exceeding $500 million.
