SUNAMERICA MONEY MARKET FUND
Supplement to the Statement of Additional Information
dated April 30, 1996
The sub-section entitled "Purchase by Check" on pages B-26 and
B-27 of the Statement of Additional Information is revised as the
following:
Purchase by Check. Checks should be made payable to the
Fund or to "SunAmerica Funds" or, for retirement plan
accounts for which the Adviser serves as fiduciary, to
"Resources Trust Company." In the case of a new account,
purchase orders by check must be submitted directly by
mail to SunAmerica Fund Services, Inc., Mutual Fund
Operations, The SunAmerica Center, 733 Third Avenue, New
York, New York 10017-3204, together with payment for the
purchase price of such shares and a completed New Account
Application. Payment for subsequent purchases should be
mailed to SunAmerica Fund Services, Inc., c/o NFDS, P.O.
Box 419373, Kansas City, Missouri 64141-6373 and the
shareholder's Fund account number should appear on the
check. For fiduciary retirement plan accounts, both
initial and subsequent purchases should be mailed to
SunAmerica Fund Services, Inc., Mutual Fund Operations,
The SunAmerica Center, 733 Third Avenue, New York, New
York 10017-3204. Certified checks are not necessary but
checks are accepted subject to collection at full face
value in United States funds and must be drawn on a bank
located in the United States. Upon receipt of the
completed New Account Application and payment check, the
Transfer Agent will purchase full and fractional shares
of the Fund at the net asset value next computed after
the check is received. Subsequent purchases of shares of
the Fund may be purchased directly through the Transfer
Agent. SAFS reserves the right to reject any check made
payable other than in the manner indicated above. Under
certain circumstances, the Fund will accept a multi-party
check (e.g., a check made payable to the shareholder by
another party and then endorsed by the shareholder to the
Fund in payment for the purchase of shares); however, the
processing of such a check may be subject to a delay.
The Fund does not verify the authenticity of the
endorsement of such multi-party check, and acceptance of
the check by the Fund should not be considered
verification thereof. Neither the Fund nor its
affiliates will be held liable for any losses incurred as
a result of a fraudulent endorsement. There are
restrictions on the redemption of shares purchased by
check for which funds are being collected. (See
"Redemption of Shares.")
