Supplement to Prospectus
dated February 29, 1996
The section of the Fund's Prospectus entitled "The Fund and Its Management" is
amended to (1) delete the sixth paragraph and (2) substitute the following new
paragraph in its place:
Financial Services
Since 1996, R. Dalton Sim. Mr. Sim is chairman of the board (since
1993), president (since 1991) and chief investment officer (since 1987) of
INVESCO Trust Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of INVESCO Funds Group,
Inc. and sub-advisor to the Fund. He also serves as president (since
1994) and trustee (since 1991) of The Global Health Sciences Fund.
Previously, Mr. Sim has served as executive vice president and chief
investment officer (1987 to 1991) of INVESCO Funds Group, Inc., and
executive vice president (1987 to 1991) of INVESCO Trust Company. Mr.
Sim earned his B. Comm. from the University of Toronto, his C.A. from the
Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and his M.B.A. from Stanford
University.
