The following information supplements that found in the "Other Investment
Practices" section on page 4.
"The fund may invest in debt securities of all types, and make substantial
temporary defensive investments in investment-grade debt securities and
money market instruments when market conditions warrant.  The fund may also
invest in warrants."
   The following information supplements that found in the "Dividend Growth
Fund And The Fidelity Organization," section beginning on page 7.    
   "Fergus Shiel is manager of Dividend Growth, which he has managed since
April 1994.  Previously, he managed the Select Telecommunications,
Broadcast and Media, and Consumer Products Portfolios.  Mr. Shiel joined
Fidelity in 1989."
