The Chubb America Fund, Inc. prospectus is amended to reflect that Henry J.
Bingham, Executive Managing Director of Van Eck Associates, has assumed the
responsibility of portfolio manager of the Gold Stock Portfolio. Mr. Bingham
joined Van Eck Associates in 1978.
