Ladies and Gentlemen:
Pursuant to Rule 477(a) under the Securities Act of 1933 (the "1933 Act"),
the Registrant hereby requests an order of the Securities and Exchange
Commission (the "Commission") granting the withdrawal of post-effective
amendment no. 33 to the Registrant's registration statement on Form N-1A (the
"Amendment") as filed pursuant to Rule 485(b) under the 1933 Act on July 13,
1995 (accession no. 0000950156-95-000493). Registrant requests a withdrawal
because the Statements of Additional Information for certain series of the
Registrant and the Part C required by Form N-1A were inadvertently omitted from
the transmission of the Amendment to the Commission. Registrant filed
post-effective amendment no. 34 on July 13, 1995 which contained all the
documents required by Form N-1A (accession no. 0000950156-95-000496).
