Pricing Supplement No. 94 Dated March 28, 1995, to 
Prospectus Dated August 25, 1993 as Supplemented by Prospectus 
Supplement Dated August 26, 1994
     
ASSOCIATES CORPORATION OF NORTH AMERICA MEDIUM TERM SENIOR NOTES,
SERIES G

$31,525,000 principal amount of the Series G Notes, 
bearing interest at 7.70% per annum and maturing 
on April 1, 2005, are being sold by the Company to
Salomon Brothers Inc at a price of 99.650% of their principal amount.  
Such Notes may be offered to the public at varying prices 
depending upon market conditions at the time of resale, 
as determined by Salomon Brothers Inc.

The Notes to which this Pricing Supplement relates will be 
Fixed Rate Notes and will be initially issued as 
Book Entry Notes for settlement on March 30, 1995.

Prior to this Pricing Supplement, $968,475,000 aggregate principal 
amount of the Series G Notes offered pursuant to the Prospectus 
Supplement dated August 26, 1994 to the Prospectus dated 
August 25, 1993 has been sold at the interest rates then in effect.
