Effective October 5, 1999, shares of Fidelity's Variable Insurance Products
Fund, Variable Insurance Products Fund II and Variable Insurance Products
Fund III (the "VIP Funds"), managed by Fidelity Management and Research
Company, will no longer be available as a Variable Account Option to
Integrity Life Insurance Company's variable annuity contractholders who
purchase on or after that date. This action does not affect existing
contractholders; contractholders of variable annuities in effect on
October 4, 1999 continue to be permitted to reallocate investments in the VIP
Funds, redeem investments in the VIP Funds or make additions to the VIP Funds.
THIS SUPPLEMENT MODIFIES THE PROSPECTUS AND SHOULD BE READ AND RETAINED.
