No. 2-89028 and 1940 Act File No. 811-3947) which was inadvertently filed for
the above referenced Trust March 17, 1995.  The record should reflect the most
current filing for the Federated Short-Term U.S. Government Trust is a 497(c)
and a 30b(2) which were both filed February 28, 1995.
