Cheng-Hock Lau, Fiduciary International, Inc.'s ("FII" or "Sub-Adviser") Fixed
Income Portfolio Manager for the Worldwide Balanced Fund has left FII, effective
June 30, 1995. His successor, Anthony S. Gould, is a Vice President of FII,
where he is responsible for the management of global and international fixed
income portfolios for institutions. Mr. Gould joined FII at the beginning of
1995, following six and a half years at BZW Investment Management, the asset
management subsidiary of the Barclay's group, where his most recent position was
Vice President and Director. At BZW, Mr. Gould was responsible for managing
global fixed income portfolios for pension funds, central banks and other
institutional clients. He was also a member of their global asset allocation
policy committee. Prior to joining BZW, Mr. Gould spent two years at J.P.
Morgan as a U.K. Government bond trader. He holds a BSc (Economics) from the
London School of Economics.
