SUPPLEMENT DATED JUNE 25, 1996
TO THE PROSPECTUSES DATED MAY 6, 1996
Effective June 22, 1996, Susan Huang replaced Alex Powers as a manager of the
Vista Balanced Fund, the Vista Bond Fund, the Vista Short-Term Bond Fund, and
the Vista U.S. Government Securities Fund. John Schmucker and Ms. Huang are
the new co-managers of the Vista U.S. Treasury Income Fund.
Ms. Huang, Vice President and Director of U.S. Fixed Income Management is
responsible for developing the allocation and risk management strategy for
U.S. fixed income portfolios, and managing the institutional U.S. fixed
income assets under management. Prior to joining Chase in June of 1995,
Ms. Huang was a senior portfolio manager with CS First Boston. Prior to
joining CS First Boston in 1992, Ms. Huang spent 14 years at The Equitable,
where she worked in the pension consulting group and the U.S. Fixed Income
Management Group.
Prior to joining Chase in May 1996, Mr. Schmucker was responsible for the
day-to-day management of the Hanover U.S. Government Securities Fund, the
predecessor of the Vista U.S. Government Securities Fund, as a vice president
and portfolio manager at The Portfolio Group. Prior to joining The Portfolio
Group in 1992, Mr. Schmucker was the Chief Investment Officer of Chemical
Bank's Official Institutions Group. Previously, he was a portfolio manager
with Henry Kaufman & Company, Inc. from June 1990 to November 1992.
