Supplement, dated February 21, 1995, to the Prospectus, dated October 1, 1994,
of Seligman Portfolios, Inc. (the "Fund")
Effective January 26, 1995, the name of the Seligman Henderson Global
Emerging Companies Portfolio (the "Portfolio") of the Fund has been changed to
Seligman Henderson Global Smaller Companies Portfolio. The change of the
Portfolio's name is to more accurately reflect the Portfolio's objective of
seeking long-term capital appreciation by investing globally in small- to
medium-sized companies.
