The following revises the discussion under "Management":
Michael Yellen has replaced Edward R. Gomoll as Portfolio Manager of the GT
Global Health Care Fund (the "Fund"). Mr. Yellen had been a Research Analyst for
LGT Asset Management, Inc. specializing on the Fund since 1994. From 1991 to
1994, Mr. Yellen was a securities analyst and co-portfolio manager for Franklin
Resources, Inc. (San Mateo, CA).
The following revises the discussion under "Risk Factors":
The Board of Directors of G.T. Investment Funds, Inc. has authorized the Fund to
change its subclassification from a "non-diversified" series to a "diversified"
series. A "diversified company" is defined under the Investment Company Act of
1940 as a management company that, with respect to 75% of the company's total
assets, no more than 5% is invested in the securities of any one issuer, and the
company will purchase no more than 10% of the outstanding voting securities of
any one issuer.
