Golden American Life Insurance Company, the issuer of
GOLDENSELECT/r/ DVA PLUS, a Deferred Combination Variable and
Fixed Annuity Contract, and other variable products, has
extended the issue age from 75 to 80, effective with this
prospectus supplement, for new DVA PLUS contracts whose owners
select the "7% Solution" death benefit under the contract.
This prospectus supplement updates the information regarding
the issue age for the 7% Solution death benefit that can be found
on pages 4 and 27 of the DVA PLUS Prospectus.
This supplement should be retained with your GOLDENSELECT/r/ DVA
PLUS Prospectus.
