The following supercedes any contrary information that refers to the
Total Return Portfolio contained in the prospectus under the caption
"Principal Investment Strategy."
The Portfolio may invest up to 20% of its assets in foreign
securities, including securities of companies in emerging or
developing markets, and up to 20% of its assets in lower rated
nonconvertible fixed income securities and comparable unrated
securities. The Portfolio may invest with no limitation in
mortgage pass-through securities and American Depository
Receipts.
The following supercedes any contrary information that refers to the
Hard Asset Portfolio contained in the prospectus under the caption
"Principal Investment Strategy."
The Portfolio is non-diversified and, when compared with other
funds, may invest a greater portion of its assets in a
particular issuer. A non-diversified portfolio has greater
exposure to the risks of default or the poor earnings of the
issuer.
