The following information supplements certain information set forth in the
Statement of Additional Information:
1. On Page 15, the following information is added to the table under the
caption "DIRECTORS AND EXECUTIVE OFFICERS":
As of July 24, 1996, Delmer L. Toebben was elected a director of the Fund. Mr.
Toebben has been the President of Curzon Advertising & Display, Inc. since 1977
and as of July 24, 1996 is also a director of Weitz Partners, Inc.
As of July 29, 1996, Carroll E. Fredrickson resigned as a director of the Fund.
2. On Page 19, the following paragraph replaces and supersedes the paragraph
title "OTHER SERVICES":
