On September 22, 1998, CB Richard Ellis Services, Inc. (the "Company")
issued a press release announcing that it has completed the acquisition of the
73% of CB Commercial Real Estate Group Canada, Inc. which it did not previously
own. The press release is filed as an exhibit hereto.
On October 2, 1998, the Company issued a press release announcing that it
has completed the purchase of the remaining ownership interests in the Richard
Ellis Australia and New Zealand businesses that it did not already own. The
press release is filed as an exhibit hereto.

CB RICHARD ELLIS PURCHASES REMAINING CANADIAN BUSINESS INTERESTS
Los Angeles, CA (September 22, 1998)
CB Richard Ellis (NYSE:CBG), the world leader in real estate services, announced
today that it has completed the acquisition of the 73% of CB Commercial Real
Estate Group Canada, Inc. which it did not previously own. Terms of the
acquisition were not disclosed. Richard Pogue, a long-time CB Richard Ellis
executive, has moved to Toronto and will become chairman of CB Commercial Canada
(which will be renamed CB Richard Ellis). The rest of management, including a
majority of the directors will continue to be made up of Canadians.
CB Richard Ellis (NYSE:CBG) is the world leader in real estate services. Based
in Los Angeles with over 9,000 employees worldwide, the company serves real
estate owners, investors and occupiers through over 200 principal offices in 29
countries. Services include property sales and leasing, property management,
corporate advisory services and facilities management, mortgage banking,
investment management, capital markets, appraisal/valuation and market research.
CB Commercial and REI Limited, which merged in April 1998 to form CB Richard
