APPLEBEE'S DECLARES INCREASED ANNUAL DIVIDEND
OVERLAND PARK, KAN., December 10--Applebee's International, Inc., (NASDAQ:APPB)
today declared an annual dividend of 8 cents per share. The dividend is payable
January 26, 1998 to shareholders of record as of December 22, 1997. This is the
company's eighth consecutive dividend and represents an increase of 14 percent
over last year's dividend of 7 cents.
Applebee's International, Inc., headquartered in Overland Park, Kan., develops,
franchises and operates casual dining restaurants under the trademarks of
Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar and Rio Bravo Cantina.
