Supplement to Prospectus dated December 31, 1993
Please delete the last paragraph under the "What Shares Cost" section of the
Prospectus which appears on page 14 immediately before the section entitled
"Purchases at Net Asset Value" and replace it with the following:
"During the period from January 1, 1994, through and including
October 31, 1994, the maximum sales charge imposed on the
purchase of shares of the Fund will be 2.50% of the offering
price of the shares purchased."
