WILL BE OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC WITHOUT AN INITIAL OR DEFERRED SALES CHARGE,
PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED TO END ON MARCH 31, 1995, HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH JUNE
30, 1995. See "Purchase of Shares - Public Offering Price" on page 21 of the
Prospectus. Piper Jaffray Inc. (the "Distributor"), the principal distributor of
the Fund's shares, will pay its investment executives and other broker-dealers
selling Fund shares a fee equal to 2.00% of the net asset value of any shares
sold during this period. These payments will be an expense of the Distributor;
they will not be reimbursed by the Fund under its Rule 12b-1 Plan. See
"Distribution of Fund Shares" on page 20 of the Prospectus.
