SUPPLEMENT TO PROSPECTUS DATED MARCH 1, 1995
The following paragraph is added at the end of the "Investment Restrictions"
section on page 11 of the Prospectus:
The European Equity Fund and the Pacific Basin Equity Fund are each
classified as "non-diversified" under the 1940 Act, which means that neither of
these Funds is limited by the 1940 Act with respect to the portion of its assets
which may be invested in securities of a single company. The possible assumption
of large positions in the securities of a small number of companies may cause
the performance of each of these Funds to fluctuate to a greater extent than
that of a diversified investment company as a result of changes in the financial
condition or in the market's assessment of the companies.
