Prospective Maryland Investors should note the following:
The discussions of "Options on Securities" and "Risk Factors: Imperfect
Correlation of Hedging Instruments with the Fund's Portfolio" are amended as
follows. The sentence on page five which states, "The Fund may write Options for
the purpose of increasing its return and for hedging purposes," is hereby
restated as follows: "The Fund may write Options for the purpose of attempting
to increase its return and for hedging purposes." The sentence on page eight
which states, "It should also be noted that the Fund may purchase and write
Options not only for hedging purposes, but also for the purpose of increasing
its return," is hereby restated as follows: "It should also be noted that the
Fund may purchase and write Options not only for hedging purposes, but also for
the purpose of attempting to increase its return."
