Effective September 16, 1996, Alan Doyle will no longer manage the
Govett Global Income Fund. Following his departure from John Govett & Co.
Limited, the fixed-income group that worked with him will continue to manage all
of John Govett's fixed income portfolios, including the Fund, as a team, with no
individual primarily responsible for making investment decisions. All team
members are employees of John Govett.
