The following information updates the disclosure found in the Fund's
Prospectus under "Portfolio Management:"
Harold L. Williamson Jr. has resigned his position with the Appreciation
Portfolio as Vice President and Investment Officer. The Appreciation
Portfolio is managed on a day-to-day basis by Hersh Cohen, who is
responsible for making all investment decisions for the Fund.
