EFFECTIVE June 26, 1996, the Fund will no longer accept investments, either in
the form of purchases, or the purchase side of an exchange, from Market Timers,
as that term is defined in the Prospectus. Market Timers in the Fund after that
date will be permitted to exchange out of the Fund, but will not be permitted to
exchange back into the Fund. The "Expense Table", "How Do I Buy Shares?" and
"What If My Investment Objective Changes? - Exchange Privilege" sections of the
Prospectus are hereby amended to reflect the Fund's new policy.
