Dear Investor,
This is a supplement to the Prospectus of Strategic Global Income
Fund, Inc. dated April 1, 1996. The purpose of this supplement is to
notify potential investors of a change to a non-fundamental investment
policy of the Fund. The second paragraph on page 16 of the Prospectus is
revised to read as follows:
The Fund may invest without limit in either collateralized or
uncollateralized Brady Bonds and is not limited with respect to
the percentage of its Brady Bond investments that must be issued
by any specific country.
