NEWBURY, England, MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., and ROCKVILLE, Md. --
September 24, 1998 -- Micro Focus Group Plc ("Micro Focus") (London Stock
Exchange: MICF; NASDAQ: MIFGY) today announced the completion of its acquisition
of INTERSOLV, Inc. ("INTERSOLV") (formerly NASDAQ: ISLI).
