        Supplement to the Prospectus dated July 24, 1995


     Commencing  September  1,  1995, The  Chase  Manhattan  Bank
(National  Association) became successor to United  States  Trust
Company  of New York as Trustee of Advantage Growth and  Treasury
Securities  Trust, Series 1.  This change will have  no  material
effect  upon  Unit  holders  of  Advantage  Growth  and  Treasury
Securities Trust, Series 1.  In addition, the address  and  phone
number  for the Trustee listed in the Prospectus will remain  the
same.
