Changes to the Names of the Series
- ----------------------------------
Effective April 10, 1996, the names of three of the Series of the Trust
were changed as follows: Growth and Income Series was changed to T. Rowe
Price Growth and Income Series; Bond Series was changed to T. Rowe Price
Bond Series; and U.S. Government Income Series was changed to Virtus U.S.
Government Income Series. These changes were made to designate the
Series in relation to the subadvisers of the series.
